Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Fantasy Fader. By accessing or using this application you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
Fantasy Fader is a web-based audio management tool designed to help tabletop RPG game masters manage audio playback during game sessions. The application enables playback of content from YouTube and Spotify, playlist management, session saving, and related features. The service is provided "as is" and is subject to change at any time.
By using Fantasy Fader, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You may use Fantasy Fader without an account, but certain features (such as saving sessions across devices) require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Fantasy Fader offers a free tier and a Pro tier. Pro features may be subject to separate pricing and terms. Access to Pro features requires an active Pro subscription or entitlement. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features from either tier at any time.
Fantasy Fader provides tools for playing content from third-party platforms. Your use of that content is governed by the terms of those platforms:
YouTube. Fantasy Fader uses the YouTube IFrame Player API to play YouTube videos in accordance with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. By playing YouTube content through this application, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Fantasy Fader does not download, extract, cache, or redistribute YouTube content. Videos play in their original form including any advertisements. Fantasy Fader does not circumvent YouTube access controls or content protections.
Spotify. Pro users may connect a Spotify account to enable playback through the Spotify Web Playback SDK, in accordance with the Spotify Developer Terms of Service. Spotify integration requires an active Spotify Premium subscription. By using Spotify through this application you agree to be bound by the Spotify Terms of Service. Fantasy Fader does not record, download, cache, or redistribute Spotify audio streams.
Firebase (Google). User account data and saved sessions are stored using Firebase, a Google service. By using account features, you acknowledge that your data is processed by Firebase in accordance with the Firebase Privacy Policy.
You agree to use Fantasy Fader only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
The Fantasy Fader application, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by its creators and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All audio and video content played through the application remains the property of its respective copyright owners and is subject to the terms of the platforms through which it is delivered (YouTube, Spotify). Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in any third-party content.
Fantasy Fader is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that third-party content (YouTube videos, Spotify tracks) will be available or will play without interruption.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fantasy Fader and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or any other damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fantasy Fader and its creators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Fantasy Fader at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Fantasy Fader after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts.
